81 major prizes up for grabs with Lotto Max draw in Canada

The Lotto Max jackpot has been won yet again.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said in a press release that a ticket sold in Ontario won a $15 million prize.

It was sold somewhere in Brant County in southern Ontario, the OLG said.

“In addition to the $15 million jackpot, there were thousands of other Lotto Max prizes won across Ontario – so even if you didn’t hit the big one, you might still be a winner,” the OLG said.

That includes a second-place prize of $141,315.10, which was won by a ticket sold in Lanark County.

For the Encore draw, a ticket that won $100,000 was sold in Nepean and another ticket that also won $100,000 was sold on OLG.ca.

Tuesday’s draw marks the fourth time in recent weeks that the Lotto Max jackpot has been won, after a long stretch where it went unclaimed.

On Dec. 30, after numerous draws, one ticket finally matched seven out of seven numbers to win an $80 million Lotto Max jackpot. That ticket was sold somewhere in London, Ontario.

Then on Jan. 9, a ticket sold in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell in eastern Ontario won $55 million.

The following draw, on Jan. 13, a ticket sold in Quebec won $14 million.

According to the OLG website, these were the winning numbers for the Tuesday, Jan. 20 Lotto Max draw, which led to the latest win:

Main draw: 03 09 15 17 22 31 33 Bonus 50

Encore: 2922809

Friday’s Lotto Max draw will feature an estimated $10 million jackpot.
