A search is underway for three suspect after a woman’s banking PIN and purse were stolen and used to make numerous purchases.

The victim, an elderly woman, was shopping at the Laval Dr Walmart on May 5. The three suspects are seen on surveillance cameras following her and capturing her debit PIN while she was paying.

As the woman left the store the trio followed her out to the parking lot, distracted her and made off with her purse, police say. Later the card was used to make numerous purchases at various locations.

Police describe the first suspect as an older man in his fifties or sixties. He has tanned complexion and grey hair. He wore glasses, a dark three-piece suit, a light blue shirt, and black dress shoes.

The second suspect is described as a white woman with long brown hair between 35 and 45 years old. She wore a red, white and blue jacket and camo pants.

The third suspect is a white man, with short brown hair and facial hair between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing a black hoodie and pants.

This plaza has been a frequent criminal hotspot of late. Less than one month ago a man was arrested in the area for an alleged indecent act.

A week before that a car was stolen from a parking lot in the plaza and crashed into another car on Hwy 401 as the driver fled the scene. The victim of the carjacking was also injured when his car was stolen. One was arrested on scene on theft and dangerous driving charges.
