A roller-coaster at Canada’s Wonderland is set to be taken down after around 20 years.
A spokesperson for the amusement park, located in Vaughan, told INsauga.com that the Time Warp coaster “is being retired.”
It’s set to be removed before the park opens in May, Grace Peacock said.
“The flying coaster attraction gave more than 9.3 million rides since first opening in 2004 as Tomb Raider: The Ride,” Peacock said.
“It featured riders positioned face-down to simulate the sensation of flight.”
She said that plans haven’t yet been announced for the area where Time Warp is located.
Demolition hasn’t started yet.
Meanwhile, other work has been occurring at Canada’s Wonderland, including track replacement for the Mighty Canadian Minebuster, as well as the construction of a brand new roller-coaster that’s set to open this Spring: AlpenFury.
