Another product sold by Costco has been recalled in Canada

Another product sold by Costco in Canada has been recalled.

It comes amid three other Costco recalls recently, which have involved a kettle, multivitamins, as well as shampoo and conditioner.

Certain window shades are also being recalled.

“Springs Window Fashions is recalling certain model numbers of the Springs Cellular Shades as products do not meet the corded window coverings regulations and may pose a choking hazard,” a notice on Costco’s website says.

“The end caps on the bottom rail may not be glued and can release small parts that present a choking hazard to young children.”

The Bali Springs Cellular Shades with the model number BC23 are impacted.

The notice indicated they were sold on Costco.ca between Jan. 1, 2025 and April 9, 2026.

The product label is located on the top of the headrail of the shades. The model number and manufacture date can be found there.

As of May 19, the company hasn’t received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

“Members should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Springs Window Fashions if the end caps on the bottom rail are not securely glued. If the endcap detaches, a glue kit with instructions will be provided by the vendor,” the notice said.

The item can also be returned to Costco.ca for a full refund.

For more information, customers can contact Springs Window Fashions by email or by phone at 1-800-667-2955.
