Four products that were sold by Costco in Canada have been recalled recently.
The recalls have involved a kettle, window shades, multivitamins, and shampoo and conditioner.
Here’s a look at the impacted products:
Kettle
A notice posted on Costco’s website says that the Zwilling Enfinigy Electric Kettle Pro 1.5 L was sold as part of small appliance bundles on Costco.ca between October 2022 and January 2026 (Costco item numbers 1664609 and 1663356).
“Zwilling JA Henckels Canada Ltd is recalling this product. The handle of the water kettles may loosen or break off entirely during use,” the notice says.

“In isolated cases, the product defect may cause hot water to spill from the kettle, creating a risk of scalding injuries to the user or bystanders in the immediate area, including small children.”
Zwilling JA Henckels Canada Ltd has received 21 reports of incidents in Canada as of May 13, including one report of a possible injury, the notice said.
In the U.S., the company has received 96 reports of incidents and one possible injury.
The product bundles sold by Costco which included the kettle are the following:

Window shades
“Springs Window Fashions is recalling certain model numbers of the Springs Cellular Shades as products do not meet the corded window coverings regulations and may pose a choking hazard,” a notice on Costco’s website says.
“The end caps on the bottom rail may not be glued and can release small parts that present a choking hazard to young children.”
The Bali Springs Cellular Shades with the model number BC23 are impacted.
The notice indicated they were sold on Costco.ca between Jan. 1, 2025 and April 9, 2026.
As of May 19, the company hasn’t received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Kirkland vitamins
An urgent health product recall posted on Costco’s website involves a certain lot of Kirkland tablets.
“Vita Health Products has initiated a voluntary Type II recall of Kirkland Signature Women 50+ (multivitamin and minerals) Tablets due to the potential presence of loose metal pieces in the pill bottle,” the notice said.
The impacted bottles have the following printed on the neck of the pill bottle:
The notice indicates they were sold between February and May of this year.
The notice said that lot is being recalled after a metal object was found within one bottle.
No other lot numbers are affected.
The product has the Costco item number 7013050.

Shampoo and conditioner
Certain lots of the Renpure Tea Tree & Rosemary Scalp Rebalancing Shampoo and Conditioner (2 × 946 mL, Item # 8434044) were recalled.
“Mav Beauty Canada Inc. is recalling the lot codes identified below of Renpure Tea Tree & Rosemary Scalp Rebalancing Shampoo and Conditioner due to possible elevated microbial levels,” the notice said.
“Out of an abundance of caution, these specific lot codes are being recalled, as some individuals may experience mild skin irritation or sensitivity.”
The affected lot codes, which can be found on the bottom of the shampoo bottle, are the following: 2603C065 and 2604C066.
“There have been no reports of serious adverse reactions associated with this product; however, this recall is being conducted to ensure the highest quality and safety standards for our members,” the notice said.
Costco’s website indicated that it was sold in Ontario and Quebec between May 10 and May 12.

In each case, the recalled product can be returned to Costco for a refund.
