Province reports 741 new COVID-19 cases, 43 in Mississauga and Brampton

The province is reporting 741 new COVID-19 cases today, Nov. 21 (up 13 from yesterday) and three more deaths, with the seven-day case average rising to 645.
There are 80 new cases in Toronto, 43 in Peel (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon), 39 in York, 32 in Durham, 28 in Halton, 21 in Hamilton, and 17 in Niagara region.
Of today’s 741 new cases, it’s reported that 410 cases are in individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status, and 331 are in fully vaccinated individuals.
107 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, and a further 135 people are in ICU.
22,802,867 vaccine doses have been administered in Ontario to date, with nearly 89.0% of Ontarians 12+ having received one dose and 85.9% having received two doses.
The province says it is pausing the lifting of capacity limits in higher-risk settings “out of an abundance of caution” as the province continues to monitor public health trends.
