Police release name of man who died in Caledon crash last week

Police identified the man who died in one of two fatal crashes in Caledon last week.

Two vehicles collided on Hwy. 10 near Boston Mills Road in Caledon around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 2, OPP said in a press release.

A passenger vehicle hit the rear of a commercial motor vehicle, OPP said. The driver and lone occupant of the sedan died at the scene. The other driver did not sustain any injuries.

The person who died is identified as Clinton Lopez, 48, of Holstein, Ontario.

The crash was one of three fatal collisions on Hwy. 10 last week.

On Thursday (Nov. 3) around 10:30 a.m. two vehicles collided on Hwy. 10 near Beech Grove Side Road in Caledon. The driver and lone occupant in one vehicle died at the scene.

And a three-vehicle crash killed one person on Hwy. 10 between 10th and 15th Sideroad in the Town of Mono, approximately 26 kilometres north of Caledon on Monday (Oct. 31).
