Police investigating fatal two-car collision in Caledon

One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Caledon early this morning.

The Caledon OPP say officers and emergency crews were called to the scene of a serious collision on Hwy 10 near Boston Mills Rd. just after 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 2).

The driver and lone occupant of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead on the scene, while the driver of the second vehicle was uninjured in the crash, according to police.

Police have closed Hwy 10 between King St. and Olde Base Line Rd. while investigators are on scene. Heavy truck traffic is being advised to detour using King St., Charleston Side Road or Hwy 9 to Airport Road.
