New liquor store offers another place to buy Canadian booze in Brampton

There is yet another location where you can buy Canadian-made alcohol in Brampton with the opening of a new LCBO location in a popular shopping plaza.

The new LCBO opened last month at 40 Coventry Rd. in Brampton, in the same plaza as the Walmart and Staples stores near the corner of Airport Road and Queen Street East.

Workers at the store have confirmed to INsauga.com that all American-made products have been removed from shelves under order of Premier Doug Ford amid an escalating trade war with the U.S.

With the ongoing trade disruptions many Canadians are now looking to buy more domestic products.

INsauga.com has made lists of “trending” made-in-Canada spirits that are available at the LCBO, and 10 beers or ciders that are made in Canada.

The new LCBO at 40 Coventry Rd. in Brampton is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
