Air Canada worst in North America in on-time performance in 2023

As the summer travel season continues to ramp up at Pearson Airport in Mississauga, travellers now have available to them an additional five flights per week to Belgium.

Airport officials took to social media today (Aug. 2) to announce that Air Canada has launched the new Pearson-t0-Brussels flights as of this week.

The capital of Belgium, Brussels is also the historical centre of the region and has a population of 188, 737 (January, 2022).

“Explore the rich history of Belgium’s capital with its famous cuisine and impressive landmarks, or stop by for connections, with many options to fly into Africa,” Pearson officials said in their online post.

Canada’s flagship carrier has added more flights to many destinations in recent months during both the spring and even busier summer travel season.
In late June, as the summer travel season began, Air Canada began offering five weekly flights to Manchester, England direct from Pearson and daily flights to Kansas City, Missouri, known for its barbecue ribs and jazz scene.

Earlier in June, Air Canada began offering four flights per week to both Sacramento, the capital of California, and Iceland’s capital city of Reykjavik.

Air Canada also resumed its schedule of three weekly flights to Salt Lake City, Utah in early June.

Back in the spring, Air Canada resumed three weekly flights to Venice, Italy, six weekly flights between Pearson and Madrid, Spain and four flights per week to Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Moving forward, more flights will be added on a regular basis to various destinations across Canada and around the world from Pearson.
