A new Farm Boy grocery store is set to open in Ontario this week.
The grocery store chain said that it will mark the 53rd Farm Boy location.
It will be in Ottawa at 4828 Bank Street in the city’s Findlay Creek neighbourhood.
The store is set to open on Thursday and there will be grand opening celebrations from June 18 to 21, featuring live music, product samples, giveaways, and more, the company said.
“Ottawa has always been an important community for Farm Boy, and expanding our presence here allows us to better serve our neighbours with more of what they’re looking for,” said Shawn Linton, the president and general manager of Farm Boy.
The new Farm Boy will be on Bank Street as part of an expanding business district, the company said.
In March, a new Farm Boy store also opened in Collingwood.
Farm Boy was founded in Cornwall in 1981.
