New Chick-fil-A restaurant nearing completion in Mississauga

A new Chick-fil-A will open soon in Mississauga.

Known for its chicken sandwiches, the first Chick-fil-A in the city opened at Square One Shopping Centre to huge crowds in August 2023.

A second location should be opening soon in the city. In March, a Chick-fil-A spokesperson confirmed there would be a new location at 5950 Mavis Rd. at Heartland Town Centre.

More recently, the U.S. chain officially announced the new spot on Instagram.

“We’re pleased to announce to you that Chick-fil-A is coming to Heartland Town Centre,” the company said in an Instagram post.

The exact opening date hasn’t been announced, and, when contacted, Chick-fil-A declined to provide an estimated date for the restaurant’s opening.

However, it looks like it could open soon. The Heartland is now nearing completion, a post on Reddit noted. A photo shows the signage up on the newly constructed building.

Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are owned and operated by a single individual, which means owner-operators are small business owners who work in their restaurants, according to the chain’s website.
