A man has won the lottery for the third time in Ontario.
Just last Fall, INsauga.com wrote about Marcel Leclaire’s $3 million win from an Instant Platinum scratch ticket.
Prior to that, in 2017, the Sudbury resident won $1 million playing Encore.
And now he is back, celebrating yet another big win, this time from an Instant Lunar 8s scratch ticket.

“I’m a fan of David Pastrnak, and his jersey number is 88. I saw the number 88 on this ticket, so I decided to pick one up,” the 73-year-old said.
Leclaire was at the store when he checked his ticket and learned he won big yet again, this time winning the top prize of $88,888.
“I stood there in complete shock,” Leclaire said.
“Even though it was my third big win, the feeling was just as intense as the first. I shared the news with my brother, and he was so happy for me.”
“It’s great, and I feel really fortunate,” he added.
Leclaire plans to buy a new home, fill it with new furniture, and also saves some of his winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Donovan Variety on Kathleen Street in Sudbury — a different store from where his last winning ticket was bought.
