Japanese fluffy pancake dessert cafe opening soon in Hamilton

A new dessert chain opening soon in Hamilton promises soft, bouncy, and light pancakes.
Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Pancakes, which has locations in Toronto, Vaughan and Mississauga, is opening its first shop in Hamilton at 2 Newton Avenue in Westdale, according to a post on Instagram.
Fuwa Fuwa, means “fluffy fluffy” in Japanese and is used to describe something light and airy such as marshmallows, cake or animals.
The Fuwa Fuwa pancakes are “a delicate balance between a soufflé and a traditional pancake,” according to the website.
Each pancake begins with egg whites whipped to soft peaks, then they are cooked very slowly at a low temperature. The pancakes are then topped with fruit or a sweet-treat flavour.
In Toronto, the menu includes tiramisu, cookies and cream, matcha white chocolate, strawberry and many others.

The menu also includes roll cakes, macarons, burnt-top cheesecake, pudding, cookies and cupcakes. There are also hot and cold flavoured lattes and teas.
