Residents should prepare for a rainy next few days across most of southern Ontario.
The forecast for the upcoming week calls for rain almost every day, with a chance of showers expected from Tuesday to Friday.
Monday and Saturday may offer some respite from the rain; both days call for a mix of sun and clouds.
Temperatures will hover around 22 to 23 degrees Celsius for most of the week, but may feel warmer due to humidity.
A week-low of 11 degrees Celsius is expected Friday evening.
A special weather alert was issued in several parts of southern Ontario on Sunday due to heavy rainfall, with some areas receiving up to 50 mm.
Residents are reminded to stay away from low-lying areas during rainfall heavy enough to potentially cause pooling or flooding.
