Crews fight another house fire in Brampton overnight

Fire crews battled a house fire overnight in Brampton.

The fire broke out in a home at 86 Merton Rd., near Williams Parkway and Kennedy Road, Brampton Fire and Emergency Services said on X just before 2 a.m. Tuesday.

A neighbour noticed flames rushed over to alert the residents, according to news reports.

There were no injuries reported.

There have been multiple fires in Brampton in recent weeks.  A fire damaged a Hasty Market convenience store on Monday.

On March 28, crews were called to a blaze in a townhouse complex. There was also a two-alarm house fire in Brampton March 28.
