Change takes effect at several Beer Store locations in Ontario

A temporary change has taken effect at several Beer Store locations in Ontario.

The company said it is offering extended hours at 19 locations in the province during the World Cup.

The tournament kicks off on Thursday and so do the extended hours.

“The Beer Store is proud to offer extended hours of operation during the tournament, giving consumers more options to return empties and get ready to cheer on Canada,” said Ozzie Ahmed, the vice president of retail at The Beer Store.

The stores will open at 9 a.m.

Meanwhile, The Beer Store also recently announced plans to open two new locations in Toronto in time for Canada Day.
