Another Costco is opening next month in Ontario

Another Costco is scheduled to open its doors next month in Ontario.

Just last week, a new Costco Business Centre opened in Mississauga at 3115 Argentia Road, near Winston Churchill Boulevard, in the northwest of the city.

And in just a few weeks, another Costco Business Centre is set to open in the Greater Toronto Area — this time in East Gwillimbury at 18182 Yonge Street.

A post on Costco Canada’s Facebook page says the location will be opening on Dec. 6.

“You don’t have to be a business owner to shop,” the post said.

“The business centre is open to all Costco members. We hope to see you there!”

A Costco Business Centre differs from the company’s usual warehouses.

It sells larger items that are catered to businesses.

For example, a $1,300 barrel of olive oil is among the products offered at the Mississauga centre. Wheels of parmesan cheese are also for sale.

The East Gwillimbury location used to be a conventional Costco warehouse. In August, a new Costco opened in Newmarket and the East Gwillimbury location was closed to be converted into a business centre.
