A massive lottery jackpot was won in Canada over the weekend.
After growing for a number of weeks, the Lotto 6/49 gold ball jackpot was won on Saturday.
A ticket sold in Quesnel, British Columbia won the huge $46 million prize, according to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.
For the classic draw, no one matched six out of six numbers to win the $5 million jackpot.

Two tickets, however, did get five out of six numbers plus the bonus to win $139,555.40.
One of those tickets was sold in Ontario and the other in Quebec, the BCLC says.
There were also 107 tickets that got five out of six numbers to win $1,095.30.
Here’s a look at the winning numbers for the Saturday, Dec. 20 Lotto 6/49 draw, according to the BCLC:
Classic draw: 13 22 24 28 29 46 Bonus 16
Gold ball draw ($46 million jackpot): 12706438-43
Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 draw will have the classic jackpot at its fixed $5 million and the gold ball jackpot at $10 million, or the guaranteed $1 million prize.
The Dec. 24 draw is also a “super draw,” featuring 15 guaranteed prizes of $100,000.
Meanwhile, for the Lotto Max draw on Tuesday, there is an $80 million jackpot up for grabs along with an estimated 43 $1 million maxmillion prizes.
