3rd shooting in 4 days leaves two more injured in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Mississauga that left two injured.
Police received the call just after 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Shooting in Mississauga – At 1:15 am a shooting occurred in the area of Lakeshore rd. Cawthra rd. – Two adult victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. PR23-0091618

It occurred at a home in the area of Lakeshore and Cawthra Road. Residents should expect a heavy police presence Tuesday morning.
Police say two people were transported to hospital. They are expected to recover from their injuries.
It’s the city’s third shooting incident in four days; two of which resulted in deaths.
Over the weekend, one person was killed outside Canvas Art Bar in Port Credit, and another died in a residential shooting in East Credit on Monday.
