Woman who allegedly stole power tool from Oakville store flees security

A woman allegedly caught stealing a power tool from an Oakville renovations store still took off after being spotted by security.

Halton Regional Police are looking to identify a woman who went into the Home Depot, located at 2555 Bristol Circle, on July 17, 2022 and hid a DeWalt angle grinder and a Ryobi battery kit in her bag.

She then left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. The woman then refused to remain at the store when approached by store security and left.

The female suspects is described as being five-foot-10 with a thin build and long blonde hair and is approximately in her 30’s.

She has a tattoo of a rose on her right shoulder and was wearing a black hair band, white tank top, black shorts and black flip flops.

She was also carrying a silver sparkled bag.
