Strong wind warning continues in Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington and Oakville

A strong wind warning continues today for Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville, Caledon, Halton Hills and Milton.
Environment Canada issued the special weather statement this morning (Nov. 30) following similar warnings earlier this week.
Strong, westerly winds gusting from 70 to 80 kilometres an hour are expected later this morning into tonight in the wake of strong cold front, according to Environment Canada.
The strongest winds are expected near the eastern shores of the Great Lakes where wind gusts up to 90 km/h may occur.
Winds are expected to ease from west to east later tonight.

Strong winds may toss loose objects and cause tree branches to break. Isolated utility outages may occur.
