Whitby driver clocked going 173 km/h in an 80 km/hr zone in Brampton

Whitby man faces stunt driving charges after he was stopped in Brampton.
A vehicle was clocked travelling 173 km/h in a 80 km/h zone in Brampton, Peel Police Service said in a tweet. Police did not say what street the driver was on.
The man’s drivers license was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle impounded for 14 days.
Police remind the public of the dangers of speeding.
“Speeding is usually a factor in many serious or fatal collisions, so please DO NOT SPEED,” police said.
