Where you can get PC Optimum points in Canada

PC Optimum is one of the most popular rewards programs in Canada.

It continues to expand, with customers recently being able to collect points on eligible Doordash orders.

With the cost of living continuing to rise, many Canadians look to rewards programs as a way to save a few bucks.

With that in mind, here’s an overview of PC Optimum:

Where you can get points

PC Optimum is owned by Loblaw.

Overall, you’re able to earn points at more than 4,500 locations, including all Loblaw grocery stores,  Loblaw told INsauga.com.

That means Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, and No Frills, for instance.

You can also get points at Shoppers Drug Mart, Pharmaprix, and Joe Fresh.

Customers can even earn points at The Mobile Shop.

Esso and Mobil gas stations also participate in PC Optimum.

And, as mentioned, eligible Doordash orders were recently added to the program as well.

Shoppers get personalized offers each week on the PC Optimum app based on their shopping habits, Loblaws said.

They also get access to in-store deals, bonus point events and special product offers.

“You can also earn even more through PC Financial products and PC Health challenges,” the company noted.

How much the points are worth

Every 10,000 points is equal to $10.

“As soon as you have 10,000 PC Optimum points, you can redeem for up to $10 worth of free stuff at any participating store or online at beauty.shoppersdrugmart.ca and joefresh.com and at any participating online grocery stores,” the PC Optimum website notes.

At Esso, 4,000 points can be used to get 10 cents off per litre of fuel, up to 40 L (which equals $4); 10,000 points can also be used for any car wash.

The website says that points can be used for up to $500 off on any one purchase.

“Bonus redemption events” are also held at participating grocery stores and pharmacy stores, Loblaw said.

“Members also enjoy perks like exclusive pricing and a three-month trial of Apple subscription products,” the company said.
