Just as temperatures are soaring, the area’s largest waterpark, Wet ‘n’ Wild, is set to open next week.
This week, Brampton and much of southern Ontario is getting hot, summer-like weather, hitting 32 C at the end of the week. The boiling hot temperatures may have people thinking of ways to cool off.
Wet’n’Wild, Brampton’s 45-acre outdoor, waterpark could help but not until June 10.
That’s when the park is scheduled to reopen for the season.
The waterpark has a few options to cool off including a wave pool, lazy river and 30 slides.
Attractions include the Bear Footin’ Bay a kids’ play structure with sprayers, slides, and a giant tipping bucket, the Klondike Express — a loop slide with a gravity-defying drop, the Big Surf wave pool, and the Muskoka Soakah lazy river.
The waterpark reopens weekends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. until June 29 when it’s open daily for the summer.
Tickets range from $39.95 to $59.95.
The park is located at 7855 Finch Ave. W. at Highway 427.
