West Hamilton street closed in police investigation

Hamilton police officers cordoned off an area of the Westdale village during an apparent suspicious package investigation on Thursday night.
Around 8:54 p.m., the Hamilton Police Service closed King Street West at Marion Avenue North for an investigation. Caution tape was put right around the area, which contains four different eateries. A photo from the scene posted online also contained a sign for a farmers’ market.

Hamilton Police are conducting an investigation in the area of King Street West and Marion Avenue in Westdale.

The four restaurants on the site include Delirious Burger Co., Nannaa Persian Eatery, Paisley Coffeehouse & Eatery, and a Pizza Nova.
