Hamilton police officers cordoned off an area of the Westdale village during an apparent suspicious package investigation on Thursday night.

Around 8:54 p.m., the Hamilton Police Service closed King Street West at Marion Avenue North for an investigation. Caution tape was put right around the area, which contains four different eateries. A photo from the scene posted online also contained a sign for a farmers’ market.

The four restaurants on the site include Delirious Burger Co., Nannaa Persian Eatery, Paisley Coffeehouse & Eatery, and a Pizza Nova.
