A brief return to winter weather may come this weekend in southern Ontario.
After thunderstorms, heavy rain and warm 20 C weather, a temperature drop with a chance of flurries is forecast this weekend.
Much of southern Ontario has seen heavy rain this week, with flooding risks, and rivers overflowing.
The rain should end Thursday, with a partly sunny 17 to 20 C day expected on Friday in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton and Durham Region, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
A low of around 9 C is expected on Friday evening.
Rain returns on Saturday with a 60 per cent chance of showers during the day, and a 40 per cent chance in the evening.
A high of 18 C is forecast, but the temperature could drop to 3 C in the evening.
A big temperature drop is expected on Sunday when the low could reach -2 C in the evening.
A high of 6 C is forecast with a 30 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries.
Sunny, but cool weather is expected into next week.
