Warmer-than-normal temperatures are forecast this weekend in southern Ontario.

October has been mild with unseasonably warm temperatures, but chilly nights and frost advisories.

This weekend’s forecast also looks mild.

On Friday, a high of 15 C is forecast with a 40 per cent chance of rain in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville and Hamilton, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. It could be slightly cooler in Durham Region.

A low of around 8 C with a 40 per cent chance of rain is forecast for Friday evening.

Saturday’s high could reach an unseasonable high of 19 C with sunny skies. A low of 12 C with cloudy skies is expected in the evening.

On Sunday, a high of 18 C is expected along with a 60 per cent chance of rain. There’s a 70 per cent chance of rain in the evening with a low of 7 C.

Rain is expected to continue into next week.

The normal high for this time of year is 13 C and the low is around 3 C, according to Environment Canada.
