Walk with dinosaurs large and small at 'must-see' show coming to Mississauga

Ever want to take a stroll alongside dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes?

Then the International Centre in Mississauga is the place to be July 30-31 when a “must-see” interactive show that’s played to rave reviews at venues across Canada and the U.S. comes to town.

Dino Stroll is billed as the only North American tour that lets people do a walk-through with life-like–and life-sized–replicas of the huge beasts that once populated all areas of the globe.

Visitors to the show can stroll at their own pace and get up close alongside all types of dinosaurs, from the smallest to the biggest, most gentle to the meanest.

“Nowhere else can you encounter colossal-sized dinosaurs ranging from babies to the huge Brachiosaurus standing 20 feet tall and 36 feet long, the massive Mamenchisaurus standing over two stories high and 60 feet long, the mammoth Spinosaurus also over two stories high and 45 feet long, the enormous, show-stopping T-Rex at 28 feet tall and over 60 feet long and the gigantic Apatosaurus that is 24 feet tall and 65 feet long, just to name a few,” organizers of the show say online.

And not to be forgotten, visitors can also get up nice and close to the popular Velociraptor and Stegosaurus dinosaurs.

Dino Stroll features a wide selection of dinosaurs produced with advanced animatronics and sound technology “that brings these amazing creatures to life,” they add.

“This one-of-a-kind event will provide the best opportunity to see and feel what it must have been like when the world’s largest creatures roamed the earth.”

In addition to the main attraction, children can also participate in a storytime session and visit a Dinosaur Craft Creations Station featuring various hands-on crafts.

Themed rides, inflatable bounce houses, dinosaur scooters and walking dinosaur rides are also part of the attraction. And visitors to the exhibit can also have a seat on a dinosaur “to experience what it would be like to ride on one.”

Additionally, kids can ride on T-Rex ATVs on a track that circles a life-sized T-Rex.

The International Centre is located on Airport Rd. in Mississauga.

Tickets cost $39 plus tax.
