The Town of Milton’s walk of fame induction ceremony will be taking place later this month.

Milton’s Walk of Fame, which was created in 2007 as the Town’s 150th Anniversary Legacy project, recognizes the achievements of local residents along with their success.

The Walk of Fame highlights local athletes, sports, actors, writers, musicians, entrepreneurs, and government, health and science figures. Each inductee is recognized in the glass corridor that links the historic Town Hall.

The Walk of Fame Program is administered by the Milton Historical Society which makes nominee recommendations to Milton Council for approval based on specific criteria.

A total of eight inductees will be announced at the ceremony this year. Additionally, the Town will be presenting all nominees with a recognition gift.

The ceremony with Mayor Gordon Krantz and the Historical Society is set to take place on Saturday, Apr. 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Milton Town Hall, located at 150 Mary St.
