One of the world’s largest cargo planes landed at Pearson Airport in Mississauga on Sunday, and it made a picture perfect landing.

Or, more specifically, a landing perfect for video.

The landing of the Longtail Aviation Boeing 747-400 was captured on video by aviation photographer/videographer Airborne Pro, who posted the video–and accompanying chatter between Pearson air traffic control and the flight crew–to social media.

Longtail Aviation is headquartered in Bermuda and it features several types of Boeing 747 aircraft in its cargo fleet.

In July 2020, Longtail announced it had acquired its first Boeing 747-400F cargo plane.

Airline officials said at the time the move expanded the carrier’s worldwide charter/private flights operations to include large capacity freight aircraft as well.

“The cargo plane will provide much-needed long-range, heavy-lift capacity to move medical supplies from China to countries in North America, South America and Europe,” Longtail Aviation officials said in July 2020.
