Video: Driver crashes through a marked construction zone in Mississauga

Two people were injured after a driver crashed through a construction zone in Mississauga.

The two people went to hospital with minor injuries, OPP said in a tweet yesterday (April 18) just before 6 p.m.

The crash happened at the QEW and Mississauga Road.

The car appears to have driven through a marked zone and then careened down an embankment before smashing into a concrete wall.

The construction is part of the ongoing upgrades along the QEW from Hurontario Street to Mississauga Road.

Mississauga OPP is investigating. There is no word on charges.
