VIDEO: Controversial Barstool Sports boss comes to Mississauga to eat pizza

When Dave Portnoy comes to town, there’s not a pizza place around that doesn’t want him to come in to sample a slice of pie. Mississauga is no different.
The founder of U.S.based Barstool Sports, an edgy and often controversial sports media company, Portnoy and his team has seen a meteoric rise in their popularity, coming virtually out of nowhere to become one of the most popular sports programming sources in North America.
But it’s his One Bite Pizza Reviews that gets his audience buzzing.
As he travel with his sports coverage, Portnoy now makes it a point to drop into local pizzerias to sample and rate the product.
Yesterday (May 16), he was in Mississauga to try Pizza Nostra.
The results were good.

“This is my style, of course I’d like it,” Portnoy declares after taking his bite. This is right up my alley…it is so good.”
Portnoy gave the pizza a ranking of “Eight out of ten.”
But Barstool sports is not the only one who has declared Pizza Nostra a winner. Insauga.com recently gave the Port Credit-based restaurant top marks in its listing of Top 5 under the radar pizza joints in Mississauga.
