Vehicle crashes into building at one of Mississauga’s busiest intersections

Two people have been injured after a vehicle drove into a building this afternoon (April 8) at one of Mississauga’s busiest intersections.
Peel Regional Police say the extent of injuries to the two people involved in the Dixie Rd./Dundas St. E. crash is not yet known. They were being tended to by Peel paramedics, at last report.
According to police, a single vehicle carrying two occupants drove into a building at the busy intersection at about 3:45 p.m.
Police don’t yet know what caused the driver to lose control of the car.
Police advise motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
