Vaccination rate over 95 per cent for public school staff in Milton, Burlington, Oakville

More than 95 per cent of staff at the Halton District School Board are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Nov. 5.
Of the 6,950 full time staff and trustees at the board, 6,627 (95.4 per cent) are fully vaccinated. Another 13 are partially vaccinated and 14 have provided a documented medical exemption.
Fifty-one people have not yet submitted an attestation form, and the number might include people on long-term disability or things like parental leave.
That means 245 staff are not vaccinated, about 3.5 per cent.
Overall in Halton, 88 per cent of residents have at least one dose and 85 per cent are fully vaccinated.
The board will continue to update their numbers as the school year progresses.
