The Uxbridge Farmers Market is back in business this Sunday at a new location at Herrema Fields.

The former location for the market – next to Second Wedge Brewery – became a no-go when the brewery was severely damaged by Saturday’s F2 tornado that touched down in Uxbridge.

Herrema Soccer Fields at 85 Herrema Blvd, Uxbridge will be the temporary market location due to the devastation at Second Wedge Brewery. The brewery will be there as a vendor – “in am amazing role reversal,” as Second Wedge put it on social media – sampling and selling cans of beer to go.

“Your support and well wishes have been life giving,” the post read. “Can’t wait to see you Sunday.”

Plenty of other Uxbridge-area vendors also suffered losses in the storm, which left a wide path of destruction in its wake, and will be on hand Sunday with fresh produce, artisanal food and other products.

“Every cent spent here revitalizes the local community,” the Farmers Market said in their own Facebook post.

The Uxbridge Farmers Market will run every Sunday, rain or shine, until October 30.
