UP Express train service delays reported to Toronto Pearson Airport

Update: A longer than usual wait between UP Express trains is expected on Tuesday due to a freight train issue.

An earlier alert said train service was halted.

Buses are replacing UP Express train service on Tuesday morning.

Due to a freight train issue west of Weston GO, there is currently no UP Express train service to or from Pearson Airport, UP Express said in an alert.

Express bus service is running between Union Station and Pearson Airport.

Customers at Weston Station or Bloor Station are advised to take the TTC as a travel alternative, the alert said.

The UP Express typically runs from Union Station to Pearson Airport in less than 30 minutes, with stops at Bloor, Mount Dennis and Weston.

There have been several disruptions to the UP Express in recent weeks due to equipment issues or signal issues.
