Unique, creative items at annual fundraising sale for Milton Historical Society

The Milton Historical Society is hosting its annual Garage Sale Saturday.

The event, which features a wide-array of mostly donated items, serves as the main source of funds for the organization.

There will be plenty of items available at the sale, including luggage, books, music, kitchenware, home decor, tools, hardware and toys.

Gift shop items include Christmas ornaments, maps, mugs, gift certificates and selected blacksmith items.

Visitors will also be able to purchase memberships to the society, individual or corporate, or sign up for blacksmith courses.

The event is cash only and starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, at the Waldie Blacksmith Shop, 16 James St.
