Police are trying to identify a man who robbed a convenience store in Oshawa at gunpoint in March.

The man walked into the 4 Seasons convenience store on Wilson Rd. in the city’s south end around 9:30 p.m. on March 17. He pulled a gun on the shop clerk and demanded the register money. After grabbing some cash he ran from the store. The clerk was not hurt in the robbery.

Police describe the man as standing 5-foot-7 and wearing a black puffy jacket.

While the robbery happened more than two months ago, Durham Regional Police did not announce it until May 31. They added an appeal for anyone with information or video to come forward. Those with that information can call Robbery Unit D/Cst. Aukema at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5362 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
