Brampton’s plague of pharmacy robberies continued unabated tonight and two men remain at large afterward.

The latest in a long line of pharmacy robberies struck a location near Castlemore Rd. and Gardenbrooke Tr. The area is home to houses and a shopping plaza, inside of which is a Pharmasave.

Shortly after 6:30 on November 23 two masked men entered the pharmacy and produced a gun. Peel Regional Police did not specify what if anything was taken.

The two men then fled the area. Police have provided no suspect description as yet.

Pharmacies are a frequent target of robberies across the GTA, and many have been robbed in Brampton over the last several months. Insauga reported three such robberies in September alone and another in October.

Two more have so far been hit in November with the latest robbery coming just last week.

From September 15 to October 15, police reported 68 robberies for an average of two every day in Mississauga and Brampton.

Anyone with information about this robbery can call the Peel police non-emergency line at 905-453-3311.
