Two drivers have died following a head-on crash in southern Ontario on Thursday night.
Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle collision on Highbury Avenue North between Thirteen and Fourteen Mile Roads in Middlesex Centre at 7:40 p.m. on March 5, the Ontario Provincial Police said. Middlesex Centre is a township neighbouring London, Ontario.
The drivers and lone occupants of both vehicles were transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, the OPP said.
As a result of the collision, both drivers, a 75-year-old of St. Thomas and a 28-year-old of Georgian Bluffs, were pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
Highbury Avenue North was closed for the investigation.
