Two Mississauga males dead in fatal Brampton crash, one still in critical condition

Police have confirmed that there are now two deaths related to a fatal crash in Brampton today (Sept. 25).

At approximately 12:30 a.m., a 2015 Freight Liner tractor-trailer collided with a 2014 Chrysler 300 at Steeles Ave E. and Bramalea Rd.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 47 year old Brampton man, was assessed on scene and was not required to go to the hospital.

The front seat passenger of the Chrysler, a 19 year old Mississauga man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and the rear passenger of the Chrysler were transported to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition. The driver, a 21 year old Mississauga man, has since succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The rear passenger, a 20 year old man from Mississauga, remains in critical condition.

Police are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have captured it via video surveillance or dashcam footage.
