Two men wanted after woman pistol-whipped during Pickering home invasion: Police

Two men are on the lam after a woman was allegedly pistol-whipped during a Pickering home invasion.
According to Durham Regional Police, the pair broke into a house on Engel Ct. around 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 10. The home sits in a suburban neighbourhood next to the Petticoat Creek Conservation Area just north of Lake Ontario.
During the break-in, the pair allegedly pistol-whipped a woman in the face, leaving her injured. Police also allege they stole various undisclosed items from the house and fled. Police believe they may have escaped in a blue Honda Civic.
The woman was later taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police describe both suspects as Black men. The first appears to be between 17 and 22 years old, standing 6 feet tall. He has an athletic build and twisted shoulder-length hair.
The second suspect is described as standing 5-foot-11 with short hair. He also has an athletic build. The first suspect had a lighter skin tone, while the second had a dark complexion.

Police have released two images of the pair. Both are pictured wearing high-visibility vests over dark outfits that appear to be hoodies and sweatpants.
