Two Toronto men are facing numerous charges after some $30,000 was stolen from more than a dozen Mississauga businesses during a crime spree on Wednesday (April 20).

Peel Regional Police say numerous businesses in east Mississauga had their glass doors and windows smashed and then money grabbed from the cash registers all within a short period of time.

The targeted businesses are in the Dixie Rd./Aimco Blvd. and Dundas St. E./Haines Rd. area, police say.

According to police, more than $30,000 in cash was stolen.

Patrol officers along with the canine unit quickly responded to the scene of one of the break-ins, police say.

Arrests were made a short time later.

Blake Langford, 30, and Adrean John, 26, both of Toronto, are each charged with 14 counts of break and enter and 14 counts of disguise with intent.

They’re scheduled to appear in Brampton court on July 5.

Investigators are encouraging anyone who may have been the victim of a break and enter in the aforementioned Mississauga areas to contact police if they haven’t already at 905-453-3311, ext. 1233.
