Two males involved in Brampton collision flee on foot, Peel police say

Two males were chased down by the Peel police after they opted to show off their sprinting skills rather than remain at the scene of a collision in Brampton.
At 5:21 p.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 3), Peel Regional Police received a call about a two-vehicle collision at Literacy Drive and Academy Drive in Brampton. The driver and passenger inside one vehicle sustained apparent minor injuries. The two people in the other vehicle got out and fled on foot.
Peel officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, and the two males were taken into custody about one hour after the crash. One of the suspects needed a medical assessment at an area hospital.
