Two charged in Burlington drug trafficking operation

Halton Regional Police have broken up a drug trafficking operation.

Halton Regional Police have broken up a drug trafficking operation.

Arrests come following a month-long investigation and the execution of two search warrants, one at a residence and another at a storage facility in Burlington resulting in the seizure of several items linked to the above-noted offences.

Those arrested and the charges are:

Yassin Mohamed, 34, of Burlington

Gerald Buckland, 42, of no fixed address

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

Both Yassin Mohamed and Gerald Buckland have been released from custody, pending a court appearance.
