Two Burlington residents face several drug charges

Two Burlington people are facing a myriad of drug-related charges after an investigation by Halton police.

The 3 District Street Crime Unit executed warrants at two residences in Burlington yesterday (Mar. 15).

Among the items seized were 221.5 grams of cocaine, 11.9 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms), 19 oxycodone pills, $330 cash, four cell phones, two knives, pepper spray, and a digital scale

On Tuesday March 15, 2022, Braeden Bonhomme (29) and Taylor Bakti (29) both of Burlington were arrested.

Braeden Bonhomme, 29, has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, weapons dangerous, possession of a prohibited weapon, breach probation, and breach weapons prohibition order.

Taylor Bakti, 29 has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, weapons dangerous and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Bakti was released from custody pending a court appearance and Bonhomme was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
