Looking for some Labour Day activities in Brampton this long weekend that don’t break the bank? Consider trying a free seasonal activity kit from the Brampton Library.

From badminton, horseshoes, cricket, spike ball and more, the Brampton Library has equipment available for residents to try a new game or play an old favourite through its seasonal activity kit program.

The kit contains everything you’ll need to have some fun in the sun with family or friends this long weekend, and can be borrowed for up to seven days with your Brampton Library card.

Some kits can be placed on hold when available and are on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be picked up at the Brampton Library Chinguacousy branch.

But keep in mind that all Brampton Library locations will be closed on Sunday and the holiday Monday, so it’s a good plan to claim your kit before the weekend.

Cardholders are responsible for the proper use and return of the kits, and agree to pay fees for materials that are not returned on time or lost. All borrowed kits need to be returned in person to Library staff at the service desk during open hours.

The library’s Summer Seasonal Activity Kits are available until Oct. 31. For more information on the Brampton Library seasonal activity kits or to make a booking visit
