Halton Hills residents who would like to learn about trees may be interested in knowing that a tree identification walk is happening this weekend at Hungry Hollow Ravine.

The walk, which will take place at 32 Beaumont Crt. in Georgetown, will enable residents to identify the names of trees in the community while enjoying the colours of fall.

Throughout the walk, residents will discover the diversity of trees, learn identification tips and tricks and improve overall skills and knowledge while meeting neighbours.

The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

While the event is free, pre-registration is required.
