Bad news for transit users in Milton; fares are going up starting in the new year.

According to a release from the Town, fare increases, beginning January 2, 2020, will apply to both conventional and specialized services.

According to the release, cash fares will be increasing 25 cents to $4 per trip, while ticket book prices and monthly passes will be increasing by $1 and $3 respectively for youth, and $2 and $4 for adults.
